Roles & Permissions (Browser App Only)

Think of roles as the way you control who sees what inside BuddyX. Every team works differently, so by creating custom roles you can decide exactly which pages, stats, or tools your team / chatters should have access to.

The Default Role

When you first open Roles, you’ll see the 2 default roles - BuddyX Chatter & Model.

  • These are standard roles that come built-in.
  • You can’t change the permissions, but you can click the little eye icon to check what access it includes.
  • It’s a good starting point if you just want to get someone chatting right away (BuddyX Chatter) or allow model to enter OF credentials (BuddyX Model).

Creating Your Own Roles

You can create as many custom roles as you like. Here’s how:

  1. Go to Roles in the BuddyX Browser menu.

  2. Hit Add New Role. You will see a pop-up like this:

  1. Give it a name (like “Sub-Manager” or “Chatter”) and add a quick description if you want.

  2. Pick what this role should be able to do:

    • OF Pages → choose which pages on OnlyFans they can see (Chats, Vault, Stats, etc.).

    • BuddyX Dashboard → here you can get very specific:

      • Allow or restrict access to analytics.
      • Give sub-managers permission to create new roles or invite team members.
      • Decide if they should be able to view their team’s chatting performance.
    • BuddyX Extension → decide if they can send priority messages, edit templates, and more.

  3. Click Save and you’re done. Now you can assign that role to any team member.

Editing or Deleting Roles
  • To edit a role, go to the Roles page and click the pencil icon next to it.

  • To delete a role, click the trash icon.

  • In each row, you’ll also see how many team members are currently using that role.

  • ⚠️ If a role is assigned to someone, you cannot delete it until you assign those team members to another role.
